Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care has been designated as a Certified Urgent Care by the Urgent Care Association of America. Certified Urgent Care indicates that Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care has an operating model consistent with consumer expectations for urgent care
Consumers recognize that urgent care centers are unique facilities that play an important role in the health care system. However, there is a wide variation in the operating model of the America’s over 8,000 centers, making it difficult for consumers to identify which centers are best positioned to meet their urgent care needs. The Urgent Care Association of America has established the Certified Urgent Care (CUC) to identify urgent care facilities whose operating model is consistent with standard expectations for urgent care.
Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care advertises and accepts walk-in patients of all ages for a broad spectrum of illness, injury and disease especially during convenient evening and weekend hours. The center is equipped with diagnostic x-ray and lab services and has a provider available during all hours of operation to perform minor procedures such as setting fractures and suturing lacerations. Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care has met all Certified Urgent Care criteria as established by the Urgent Care Association of America. (A full list of the criteria, which is also available at http://www.ucaoa.org/recognition_certification.php).
Urgent care centers treat illness and injury that requires immediate, but not emergency, care. Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care providers can fill a need for your subscribers that may exist between primary care physicians and the hospital emergency department, especially during times a doctor’s appointment is not readily available Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care’s ability to provide episodic care for acute, non-life threatening illness and injury is an important community resource, and keeps patients out of the emergency room for non-emergency care. This results in cost savings to both consumers – in the form of lower co-pays or deductible utilization – and employers in terms of total charges. More and more, individuals and companies are evaluating the availability of a strong local urgent care network when choosing their health plan benefits. Cooperation between patients, primary care physicians, emergency departments, payers and Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care providers can create a network of care options that will put the patient in the proper facility for the appropriate level of care.
If you think you may need the assistance of one of our urgent care physicians, please give the Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care office a call at (951) 795-4387. Our office offers treatment for many common injuries, flu shots during flu season, and digital x-rays for broken or fractured bones.

Whether you work in an office, outdoors, or in a factory setting, the workplace can pose a wide range of hazards to your well-being. Of course, prevention and regulation of safety standards are the best ways to avoid work-related injuries, but even the most cautious of employees will tell you that accidents do happen. Here are a few of the most frequent injuries in the work setting that you should have addressed by a physician immediately.
If you often move around on your feet at work, a misstep may lead to overstretching of the soft tissues surrounding your joints in areas like the ankle and knee. These injuries can be painful, and they are best treated through rest. You may also find help recovering from some simple strength building exercises that your doctor can show you as you heal.
Bending down, lifting, and even sitting for long periods of time can put extra pressure on your spine and cause severe pain, most commonly in the lower back. Some diagnostic imaging may be necessary if you are suffering from a back injury, as different problems will have varying treatments.
A bone fracture can occur when pressure from an external source is so extreme that the bone cracks. Because the bone is living tissue, it will need time to rebuild and heal. However, you may need a cast or bracing in order to ensure the bone resets properly.
Small movements performed over and over again may create inflammation that irritates the nerves. One regularly seen example of this type of injury is carpal tunnel, which is usually the result of typing. Pain medication, rest, and physical therapy may be required to heal affected areas.
After suffering an injury in the workplace, visit the specialists of Temecula 24 Hour Urgent Care Center. We offer quick and accurate medical care at all hours of the day, working closely with your employer to provide the care you need fast.
